Salmon and Sea Trout fishing are available for all ages and abilities. For the more serious the Obbe Fishery at Leverburgh has a choice of five lochs where you can fish from the banks or they can organise boats and or ghillies for you. Scarista Golf course just 9 miles from Rodel is a challenging nine hole links course in the most scenic of settings with an interesting clubhouse. 

There is a diversity of walking opportunities from guided walks to established footpaths, from energetic hill walks to a coastal or loch side stroll.

You will in the course of your visit to here see a variety of wild life. Birds include Terns, Oyster Catchers, Cranes, Gannets, Cormorants, Shell Ducks, Mallards, Swans, Buzzards, Peregrine and for the lucky Golden Eagles. Seals, Otters and Dolphins can be seen along the coast.

You will also become aware of "not so wild" life as sheep can still be a road hazard, as are rabbits and the occasional cow.
